Whether you’re planning an indoor wedding or an outdoor celebration, Avon Old Farms Hotel is one of the most scenic and charming wedding venues in the Hartford, Connecticut area. Blending the ambiance and warmth of a historic country inn with the state-of-the-art facilities and services of a modern banquet facility, Avon Old Farms Hotel sets an unforgettably romantic tone. Our elegant décor features brilliant chandeliers, a marble foyer and antique furnishings. A stunning, three-story sweeping staircase leads to our Atrium Lobby – creating a grand sense of arrival for you and your guests. Our Towpath Ballroom and Terrace venue accommodate 150 guests for a seated dinner reception. 

Catering and Accommodations

Once you book your wedding date, finding a caterer is most likely your next big decision as we are strictly a site rental. It is up to you to find a caterer and caterers are required to leave our facility the way they found it and leave the property free of waste and litter. You will also need to contact any other vendors such as a DJ or photographer.
Discounted rates on hotel rooms are available for couples who book our facility. Please contact our sales department for further information or to set up a tour.

Pricing details and what is Included:

Our site rental is $4,000. 

  • Use of our 20 x 50 tent
  • Use of the Towpath ballroom, glass terrace and patio
